This was taken mid-December 2005. I was driving the Clark Fork River road from school on my way home. As I sometimes do, I watched the moon rising behind me in the side view mirror and then, for the first time, drove my car in the ditch. Since I was stuck and would be there for a while, I decided to take a picture of this beautiful moment in this beautiful setting. I am so lucky to be living and working in such a distractingly beautiful place.
